On the morning of 15/01/2024, Heraeus Group had a meeting and working with leaders of Long An province and representatives of IDICO Corporation to learn about investment opportunities in Long An province. Accompanying the delegation was also the participation of Mr. Cao Xuan Thang - Trade Counselor, Head of Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore.
Heraeus is a multidisciplinary corporation providing products and solutions in the fields of environment, electronics, medical and industrial applications. Heraeus is headquartered in the Federal Republic of Germany, and has been present in many countries around the world, including Singapore. Heraeus is conducting a survey to explore investment opportunities in Vietnam, especially interested in investment opportunities in Long An province. The project Heraeus Group is researching and investing in Vietnam is a factory project specializing in manufacturing specialized and high-tech medical equipment, requires high precision.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Tuoi - Deputy Director of Department of Planning & Investment of Long An province chaired the meeting and introduced the investment environment in Long An through geographical location, land fund for industrial development. Share the orientation of the province's development planning in the roadmap 2020-2025, towards the long-term goal of 2050.
In addition to understanding the investment environment, Heraeus Group also seeks information about salary costs for employees over the past time, electricity production prices, investment preferential policies in the province. The provincial leaders also had positive feedback and pledged to support investment procedures in accordance with the law to create the best conditions for The Heraeus to invest in the province.
On the same day, the delegation also surveyed and worked at IDICO Huu Thanh Industrial Park (Industrial Park) in Duc Hoa district, Long An province. At the meeting, representatives of Heraeus Group learned in great detail about the technical infrastructure in the industrial park. Heraeus highly appreciates the regional connectivity and infrastructure quality of IDICO Huu Thanh Industrial Park, capable of meeting the strict requirements of technical factors of the specialized medical equipment industry. In the working program, representatives of Heraeus Group also visited the production line of Messer Industrial Gases Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Federal Republic of Germany) and other projects under construction.
