SUNTONE INDUSTRY—a corporation from China—officially commenced construction of its new factory in IDICO Huu Thanh Industrial Park (IP), Long An province, on November 27, 2024. The choice of Chinese and international investors, such as CGH, Kian Joo Can, HAITIAN, Messer, and Suntory Pepsico, to establish their production bases in IDICO Huu Thanh IP reaffirms the park’s attractiveness to major investors.
The Suntone Industry factory will focus on manufacturing high-quality vacuum cleaners and household electrical appliances. Covering an area of 7 hectares with a total investment of 20 million USD, the factory is expected to be completed and operational by 2025. Once operational, Suntone Industry aims to achieve a production capacity of 5.5 million products per year (equivalent to 45,800 tons) and create over 700 job opportunities, significantly contributing to Long An province's economic development and human resource growth.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Khai—chairman of Suntone Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd.—stated: "After the success of our factories in Singapore and Malaysia, I am particularly confident in Vietnam's development potential. With strong support from the local government and the modern infrastructure in Long An province, I believe this destination offers numerous opportunities and sustainable success for Suntone Industry."
