On 11/03/2024, at the office of IDICO Corporation, the MOU signing ceremony of the tripartite agreement between IDICO, Weihai International Business Association, and Vietnam Business Association in China took place.
Attending the ceremony, the delegation of leaders of Weihai City with the presence of Mr. Liu Shu Jun - Deputy Secretary of the Weihai City Committee and representatives of Weihai City departments. Side of representatives from Vietnam, there was the attendance of Mr. Peter Hong - Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Chairman of the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Businessmen - Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Tra My - Chairman of the Vietnam Business Association in China with representatives from IDICO Corporation.
The signing event has contributed to promoting the relationship of exchange, economic, and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China in general, and of IDICO with Chinese enterprises in particular, making great strides in promoting investment attraction from leading enterprises in China. According to the agreement, the parties will promote cooperation based on promoting multilateral strengths to connect and create an ideal investment environment, meeting the specialized needs of investors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Peter Hong - Chairman of the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Businessmen - Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared about the situation of Vietnamese abroad enterprises in general and China in particular. He praised the long-term close relationship between Vietnam and China which has helped the trade process smoothly and promoted bilateral development. Besides, he also highly appreciated the vision, capacity, and potential of IDICO throughout its operation and dedication to outstanding projects, contributing significantly to the national economy. He believes that with a wealth of experience and synchronous infrastructure quality, IDICO industrial parks will be the best investment destination for Chinese investors.
Mr. Liu Shu Jun - Deputy Secretary of the Weihai Party Committee also introduced Weihai City – one of the most livable cities in the world (2003, United Nations), the trend of green industry development, and the need to expand the business of Chinese enterprises to neighboring countries. In particular, he emphasized that Vietnam is the most suitable and potential destination. The delegation conducted a small survey of Chinese enterprises investing in Vietnam and received good feedback on the favorable investment environment, attractive investment attraction policies, and the ability to meet labor resources. Mr. Liu Shu Jun believes that signing the cooperation agreement is a stepping stone for Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Vietnam, through IDICO industrial park and ready-built factory projects.
The signing ceremony of the trilateral agreement is a strategic step, all parties are aware of the importance of supporting, accompanying, and developing together to bring long-term economic and trade benefits. It is also a big step for IDICO in promoting and calling for investment from key markets in the coming time.
