In Vietnam, Hyosung is a tight-lipped Chaebol, not too prominent like Samsung, LG, Hyundai, Lotte... because their products are not consumer goods, home appliances or technology goods. Even so, Hyosung is known as a major investor in Vietnam and the largest in Dong Nai province. The Group operates in the fields of manufacturing yarns for the textile industry, automobile tires; manufactures transformers, chemicals, industrial materials, heavy industry and information technology.

The first and largest base in Vietnam today of this Group is IDICO Nhon Trach 5 industrial park, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province of IDICO Corporation. Since 2007 until now, Hyosung has invested about 4 billion USD in projects in Nhon Trach 5 IDICO Industrial Park (on a leased land area of about 130ha) and in other provinces such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Quang Nam, Bac Ninh ; creating jobs for thousands of workers as well as making great contributions to the local economy and national GDP.

IDICO is proud to be a traditional and prestigious partner of HYOSUNG and other large Korean corporations such as POSCO, GS INDUSTRY, JANGIN FURNITURE, HYUNDAI, OTO VINA as well as many other major brands in the world such as HEINEKEN, SUNTORY PEPSICO, KINGSPAN, LINDE GAS...
